Missouri levees could receive funding for repairs before federal lawmakers break for the holidays.

Levees throughout the region were damaged after this summers flooding. But the Army Corps of Engineers has yet to receive federal funding for repairs. Missouri senator Claire McCaskill predicts the Corp will get their money.

McCaskill adds if the federal money is approved, the Corp will receive a specific earmark for repairing its levees along the Missouri River.
