This is the official last day Maryville's city manager is on the job.

Matt LaCerf came to Maryville in June of 2006 and submitted his resignation last month to take a similar position north of Denver Colorado. He credits the elected council members for driving the agenda, but hopes two projects he's spear headed will have a lasting impact.

The city council hopes to name a new Maryville city manager by mid-January and on the job in February.
