A unique business is opening this afternoon in Maryville.

"Hardball" is an indoor baseball training facility located on South Main near Wal-Mart in Maryville. It features indoor batting cages and pitching mounds to rent by the hour. Matt Johnson is the owner, he's also the head coach of the St. Joseph Mustangs and assistant coach at Northwest. He says personalized training from former Northwest Baseball and Softball players is also offered.

Hardball will be open weekdays from 3 in the afternoon until 9 at night and weekends by appointment.
