MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-07) Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson spoke to a packed house last night in Maryville.

The Des Moines native is an international star with her silver and gold medal performances in the 2008 Olympic games in China, as well as taking the top spot in the dancing with the stars TV program last year. Before her speech, Johnson said she just likes to bring inspiration by sharing her achievements. Johnson says after being officially retired for the past two years, she's begun training again with her eye on the 2012 Olympics.
