Missouri Drug Program

Wayman

ST. LOUIS, MO (2010-12-15) Low-income seniors and people with disabilities might be getting a second chance with a state program that helps them with costs.

The Missouri RX Program will expire this upcoming August and governor Jay Nixon is making its reauthorization a legislative priority. Speaking yesterday in St. Louis, the governor stressed the importance of state funding for Missouri RX. The Missouri RX Program pays half off all out of pocket costs for medications not covered by a senior's Medicare Part D Paln.
