MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-27) Maryville Public Safety officers have a new tool to help fight crime.

Starting next month they will be wearing clip-on mini-cameras on their uniforms. Right now officers can detach their dashboard cameras, but Public Safety director Keith Wood says the new uniform mini-cams will have a better range. Wood says the department has already seen positive results from a sample mini-camera they began using last month.
