MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-13) Awarding the final bids on the Maryville downtown Streetscape project is the agenda for tonight's city counci meeting.
Members are expected to award a Grandview, Missouri company the contract for phase 2 of the project, and a Kanas City Company for phase 3. This will be the final $426,000 spent to finish the period style streetscaping in Maryville's downtown district. That money has been privately raised or awarded through state grants. Also on the agenda is approval for a temporary street closure so crews can replace the cupola on the top of the Nodaway County Courthouse. Council will also take up contracts for city employee's health, dental, and life insurance. The Maryville City Council meeting starts a little later than normal, 7:30 tonight at city hall.
