KANSAS CITY, MO (2010-12-20) The holidays are the quiet before the storm for Missouri lawmakers.

Although some bills are being pre-filed when the legislative session starts up, the state budget is all but guaranteed to overshadow most issues. Senator Jolie Justus from Kansas City will be the next assistant minority floor leader and questions how many bills will even be introduced because of the financial crisis. The Missouri legislative session starts January 5th.
