MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-22) The city of Maryville has been approved to receive a grant funded by the Missouri housing development commission.
The $110,000 grant will improve owner occupied single family homes in Maryville, making them more liveable. This program allows $20,000 to be used per house to repair five homes. There are two general eligibility requirements the owner must occupy the property and meet the income stipulations. City manager Matt Lecerf explains how this will help Maryville. Residents of Maryville can obtain the necessary paperwork and start the application process by contacting the program facilitator Jim Wiederholt at city hall.
