PRINCETON, MO (2010-12-22) Winners are announced in two regional Christmas Lighting Contests aimed at making the holidays brighter.

In Princeton the chamber teamed up with Grundy County Electric Cooperative to sponsor the contest. The grand prize winner is Jim Mason, followed by Gary snow in first place, Glen Alderson taking second, and Bruce Gamet taking the third prize. Those winners will receive credit on their electric bill from Grundy Electric. In Auburn Nebraska, Larry and Cindy Byfield took first place for their home on "O" Street. Second Place in the Auburn Residential Christmas Light Display Contest are Doug and Cindy Glenn.
