HARRISON COUNTY, MO (2010-12-07) A Harrison county lawmaker is named chair of one of the most important industries for Missouri.

Casey Guernsey will chair the house of representative's Agri-Business committee. A Harrison county farmer himself, Guernsey says now is the time for lawmakers to tackle Missouri Agriculture Policy. Also chosen to serve as committee chairmen from our region are Maryville's Mike Thomson for the house's higher education committee and Chillicothe's Mike Lair to head the education appropriations committee. The new session starts in January.
