MARYVILLE, MO (2010-12-09) Northwest Missouri's congressman has been named the chair of the house's small business committee.

Sam Grave's new title makes him one of just 21 in the house to chair a committee. Graves says the appointment puts him in the middle of federal efforts to get the economy moving again. He plans on going after waste, fraud, and abuse within federal programs intended to encourage small business development. Grave has served as ranking member on the house's small business committee for the past 2 years.
