CAMERON, MO (2010-12-01) Nearly 300 warnings were given out by the Highway Patrol during the thanksgiving break during an enforcement effort around the Cameron area.
The patrol set up a 2 day crash reduction effort along interstate 35, as well as Highway 36 and 65. Besides 277 warnings, troopers also issued tickets for 88 speeders, 23 seat belt violations, and 9 uninsured motorists. There were no DWI arrests. Three people received tickets for not having proper child restraints.
