Amy Hock is an expert on waste management and suggests for a truly "Green" Christmas, using creative wrapping strategies, such as reusable holiday bags. She also advises buying gifts that don't come with the hard plastic packaging which can't be recycled. She adds while it may be tempting to toss old cell phones, TV's, and computers, you should instead take them to a specialty recycling center because of the harmful chemicals and substances they could contain.
