CHILLICOTHE, MO (2010-12-15) The Chillicothe city council approves financing for the new fire station there.

Members approved an agreement with UMB Public Finance for 20 year payments on the project which costs just more than 2 million dollars. As part of the construction members also voted to close the Alley West of the fire station until the project is finished. The Chillicothe city council also approves the preliminary plat design for the sunset village subdivision, which calls for 16 duplexes on the city's North side.
