ST. JOSEPH, MO (2010-12-15) An alert has gone out to Northwest Missouri Law Enforcement after a bank was robbed this afternoon in St. Joseph.

It happened about 1:30 this afternoon at Bank Midwest on the North Belt Highway in St. Joseph, that's just North of the shoppes at North Village. Authorities say a man walked in, demanded money and fled the scene. Police think he is armed but haven't put out a public description. The Highway Patrol is helping St. Joseph Police with the search.
