BELT BRANCH, MO (2010-12-15) The Rolling Hills Consolidated Library's program series for patrons 55 and older, classy seniors, will watch "A Christmas Story" at 2 on Thursday at the Belt Branch, 1904 North Belt Highway.
The moive tells the story of a 9 year old boy in the 1940's who pulls out all the stops to obtain the ultimate Christmas present, even though his parents, teacher and Santa Claus himself try to warn him away from the item. Next Thursday the Belt Branch Teen Library Club will view Eight Below at 2. The movie is based on the true story of a dog handler who must abandon eight dogs during a harsh antarctic winter, the dogs efforts to survive and the handlers attempt to rescue them. Both of these movies are rated PG and will be shown for free.
