State Shortfall

Wayman

MARYVILLE, MO (2009-12-09) The Missouri Senate Budget writers say the State of Missouri will likely have one billion dollars less to work with than it did prior to the 2009 legislative session.

Administrators from various State agencies are lobbying lawmakers this week who are trying to make the case for their programs. Senate appropriations committee member David Pearce thinks incoming revenues will continue the downward trend. The 2010 legislative session starts January 6th.
