ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2009-12-14) The St. Joseph City council meets tonight.

The agenda includes nominating Mark Sonnemoser and Reba Hebert to serve on two committees for the City of St. Joseph. Bills under consideration include several regarding parking, speed limits in school zones, amending city code to take money from the riverboat gambling fund to be used by the chamber for its "Shop St. Joseph" campaign. Council will also consider a housing rehabilitation project on North 24th street for $42,000 and hiring a firm to design the recycling center and water protection maintenance facility for $37,000. The St. Joseph City council starts at 7 tonight at City Hall.
