MARYVILLE, MO (2009-12-08) December 10th of this year will mark the two anniversary of the ice storm that left much of Northwest Missouri State Universities trees in terrible condition.
Known as the Missouri Arboretum, the trees suffer massive damage from ice build up and wind. Since then associate director of environmental services Lezlee Johnson has been rebuilding it. Johnson says that the precess is a slow success. While half of the remaining new trees haven't been planted yet they are slated to be introduced to the Missouri Arboretum in the spring of 2010.
