MARYVILLE, MO (2009-12-09) High-risk groups for H1N1 are no longer the only ones able to receive flu vaccines in Missouri.
The State's department of health yesterday lifted the restrictions and is urging County health departments to open H1N1 vaccination clinics to the general public. Officials say increased supplies of the vaccines now make this possible. This would be the first time healthy senior citizens could get the vaccine, as well as other healthy adults. In Nodaway County, the health department is closed today because of weather but plans to re-open tomorrow from 8:30 to 4. Livingston County's health department plans a H1N1 vaccination clinic next Tuesday in Chillicothe from 7 to 4. You can contact your local county health department to see when they're scheduling the public vaccinations.
