MARYVILLE, MO (2009-12-10) Hundreds across Northwest Missouri will be headed to Alabama the next 48 hours.

For the 5th year in a row the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcat football team will make an appearance at the national championships in Florence. Alumni association director Steve Sutton says a variety of activities are planned, including a social starting at 5 tomorrow night at the "On The Rocks". Then a pre-game tailgate will start Saturday morning at 9 down the hill from the stadium. And a post-game get-together will be at the Marriott to recognize the team and coaches. Sutton says it's become an annual tradition.
