CHILLICOTHE, MO (2009-12-08) The City of Chillicothe is not taking any chances with winter weather.

The City is has prepared for snow storms by having a stockpile of both rocksalt and sand to combat icy roads. Street supervisor Hugh Musselman says that steps are taken before the first flake falls. While this first snow storm was early the City of Chillicothe budgets annually enough supplies to handle two major storms and ten 10 smaller ones throughout the winter months. Musselman remains confidant that the City is fully prepared for the remaining winter.
