MARYVILLE, MO (2008-12-09) The Belt branch of Rolling Hills consolidated library will hold two sessions highlighting winter preparedness.
Ron Tolen of the Saint Joseph - Buchanan County Health Department will speak this evening about preparing for health issues and emergencies during a winter storm.
Buchanan county emergency management Director William Brenton, Jr., will speak next week about how both residents and the local government can respond to winter weather disasters.
Rolling hills consolidated library outreach assistant Allan Stolfus says both sessions will give residents some tips on how to be prepared for a winter-related disaster.
Tonight's session starts at six. Next week's session will also be held on Tuesday at six.
Both events will be in the community room at the belt branch of rolling hills consolidated library in Saint Joseph. Both sessions are free and open to the public.
