Street Parking in Maryville

On-Street parking in Maryville was again discussed last night during a meeting of the City Council.

The Council reviewed a proposal where parking concerns would be addressed on a block-by-block basis at the request of property owners. Maryville Mayor Glenn Jonagan says this plan may be a good compromise on how to handle parking problems in some neighborhoods in the community.

According to the plan, the Maryville City Council would consider modifying parking regulations for a neighborhood if 60 percent of residents are in favor of a change
