Residents will soon see a dramatic change in traffic patterns in Maryville.

Director of Public Safety for the City of Maryville Keith Wood says with the local schools beginning classes this month, the volume of traffic will probably nearly double within the next week.

Wood says residents should allow a few extra minutes of travel time as compared to what they have been used to over the last 3 months.
