Random Drug Testing meeting for Maryville Parents

Coffey

MARYVILLE, MO (2012-08-06)

Parents of Maryville School District students will have another opportunity to learn more about the school's Random Drug Testing program during a special meeting in the High School Commons this evening.

Earlier this summer the Maryville Board of Education approved the hiring of Employee Screening Services of Springfield, Missouri to conduct the drug-testing for students Seventh through 12th grade. Students taking part in extra-curricular activities or use the student parking lot will be eligible for the testing this fall. Superintendent Larry Linthacum says the testing will be completely random.

Tonight's educational meeting for the Maryville School District's random drug-testing program will get underway at 6:30 at the High School Commons.
