NORTHWEST MISSOURI (2012-08-10)
Northwest Missouri State University officials received good news this week that the University has been granted reaccreditation by the Higher Learning Commission.
The reaccreditation is for 7 more years with no required follow-up actions. The Academic Quality Improvement Program's Review Panel on Reaffirmation made the recommendation. According to a release from the University, the AQIP review panel affirmed Northwest has met all federal and commission requirements for compliance and has fulfilled all 5 of the commission's criteria for accreditation. The review panel praised Northwest's strategic intent as well as the University's creation of an infrastructure for collecting and utlizing data across the University.
