Missouri Governor Jay Nixon paid a visit to Maryville yesterday at United Producers, Incorporated.
The Governor was promoting an emergency cost-share program for the state's livestock producers and farmers dealing with this summer's drought. Spokesperson with the Governor's office...Scott Holste..says Governor Nixon has made available seven million dollars to aid farmers affected by this summer's hot and dry conditions.
