Maryville Parks and Recreation budget

The Maryville City Council approved the Parks and Recreation budget for the 2012-13 fiscal year during last night's City Council meeting.

Parks Director Rod Auxier says his department will operate with just over a 1.2 million dollar balanced budget for the upcoming year.

Auxier says the Parks and Recreation board is looking at several different ways to bring in addition revenue for their budget.The Maryville City Council last night also appointed Jo Ann Shipps to serve on the Maryville Parks and Recreation Board.
