The Maryville Aquatic Center season came to a close this past weekend.

Maryville Parks Director Rod Auxier says overall he was pleased with the number of people who took advantage of the Aquatic Center this year.

The final event for the Aquatic Center again this year was a fundraiser for the New Nodaway Humane Society...the Paws-at-La-Pool-la. It was an opportunity for dog owners to take their pets for a swim before the pool was closed for the year.
