Highway 136 Bridge to be replaced

ATCHISON COUNTY, MO (2012-08-01)

The Missouri Department of Transportation has approved the replacement of the Little Tarkio Creek Bridge on U-S 136 near Tarkio in Atchison County.

Widel Construction of Blackwater, Missouri is scheduled to begin the project on August 20th with completion expected in late November. The bridge replacement includes the closure of U-S 136 with a "signed" detour route for the duration of the project.
