Dowis on Jefferson vote

Jefferson C-123 voters for the 4th time failed to pass a bond issue that would fund construction of a new district gymnasium as well as other capitol improvements for the school district.

Superintendent Rob Dowis says Jefferson officials will continue to review options for their facilities.

The Jefferson bond proposal received over 52 percent approval by voters Tuesday but needed a 4/7th's majority for passage.
