Communication Tower Progress

Work is progressing on a new communication tower for the Missouri Highway Patrol Troop H Headquarters in St. Joseph.

he old tower was damaged in a storm last year. Sergeant Sheldon Lyon says the tower construction company is currently digging, footing and pouring concrete so the tower can be installed. Lyon also says the new tower should be an improvement over what they had before the storm.

Lyon adds the dry weather has made construction easier allowing no rain delays and the tower to be finished on schedule in October.
