The 28th year of the Chautauqua in the Park will be this September.

The 2 day festival in Chillicothe at Simpson Park begins at 9am, Saturday the 8th and runs through Sunday afternoon. Executive Director of the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce Lindy Chapman says the event features entertainment, activities for kids, food booths and fine arts and crafts vendors.

Chautauqua is a juried show and all Fine Arts and Crafts vendors registered for Chautauqua in the Park will be considered for the Best in Show Award, the Student's Choice Award and the People's Choice Award.
