The University of Missouri Extension is offering a seminar for those looking to start a business.

Starting a Business- the first steps" will help those who don't know enough about starting a business make the leap into entrepreneurship. Business Development Specialist with the University of Missouri Extension- Tom Kelso is the instructor for the seminar and says the class is conducted with the assumption of no previous understanding of starting a small business.

"Starting a Business- the first steps" will be held next Thursday- August 16th from 9am until noon at the Buchanan County Extension office located at 4125 Mitchell avenue in St. Joseph. Pre-registration is required by Wednesday August 15th at 5pm by calling Tom Kelso at 660-446-3724.
