Buchanan Accident

BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO (2012-08-9)

A 77 year old Omaha woman was killed in a 2-vehicle accident yesterday morning on I-29 3 miles south of Faucett in Buchanan County.

A car driven by 53 year old Clifton Sorrells of Trenton attempted to pass a pick up driven by 59 year old Jordan Jasper of Omaha when Sorrells vehicle lost control and collided with the pick-up sending both vehicles off the road with the pick up landing on it's side. A passenger in the pick-up...Louise Edington was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 4 others involved in the accident, including Sorrells were treated for minor injuries.
