An A1C champion will host a program about diabetes Thursday at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

The guest speaker of the session is Terry Wiley who himself has diabetes and will be sharing his experiences and tips to successfully managing diabetes. Manager of marketing and public relations for Hedrick Medical Center Jordan Ferguson says the "Taking Control" program will help new and old diabetics.

Ferguson adds the program is open to the public and will in the community room at Hedrick Medical Center Thursday at 6 in the evening.
