The global financial picture continues to worsen, America's gong deeper in debt, and yesterday's free fall in the markets have investors concerned.

But JR Kurz with Edward Jones in Maryville says if you drill down to the individual company level, things don't look as gloomy.

Kurz says the fundamentals of blue chip stocks haven't changed in the past week and a half, they are just cheaper adding he doesn't see this being another 2008 plunge.
