Motorists in Maryville have several thousand more drivers to contend with on the streets, thanks to the start of classes at the university on Monday.

The city's director of public safety Keith Wood says practicing patience is key.

Wood adds once the new students learn alternative routes, Main Street bottle necks will decrease.
