Flood Fight

As summer comes to an end the men and women of the Missouri National Guard are still battling the Missouri flood fight.

Atchison county still has a handful of soldiers conducting roving patrols throughout the county. Public Affairs representative for the Missouri National Guard Jennifer Archdekin says they will be there on their mission as long as they are needed.

Archdekin expects the soldiers will be able to wrap up the work on the flood before long.
