The University of Missouri Extension is hosting the "Understanding Financial Statements" workshop for small business owners.

The seminar is directed towards those who don't have a background in accounting and don't really use their financial statements to make intelligent business decisions. Business development specialist for the University of Missouri Extension, Tom Kelso says the class will show participants how to control cash flow and make their money work for them.

Kelso adds the class is at the Buchanan County Extension office at 4125 Mitchell Avenue from 9 in the morning until noon on Thursday. For registration or for more information contact the Holt County Extension.
