The Chillicothe School Board holds a public hearing tonight then sets the new tax rate.

Board members are considering a 2 cent increase per hundred dollar valuation. About 5.4 million dollars in revenue is expected to come in from the property taxes. The tax hearing starts at 6:15 tonight at the Chillicothe District Headquarters.
