ST. JOSEPH, MO (2011-08-22)
Fortunately there have been few injuries this summer between our region's flooding and severe winds.
But both are being blamed for a severe shortage of blood. Betty Tinker with the Community Blood Center based in St. Joseph says a combination of factors have brought the blood supplies down.
Blood drives scheduled for the rest of this week include tomorrow at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville from 8 in the morning until 1, Wednesday at the Brookfield Eagle's Lodge from 1 to 6, Wednesday in Braymer at the Baptist Church from 2 to 6, and Thursday's is in the Chillicothe United Methodist Church from noon to 6.© Copyright, KXCV
