PUTNAM COUNTY, MO. (2010-08-09) A North Missouri business is taking close to a million dollar loan from federal authorities.
The USDA is loaning $995,000 to the Unionville livestock market center in Putnam County. The money is flowing through the Putnam County State Bank. The money to the livestock farm is part of $413 million the feds are giving to local banks across the nation to try and spur jobs.
