MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-30) As thousands of college students start the new year in Trenton, Maryville, Atchison, and St. Joseph, there are tools in place to help them succeed this semester.
One such project is the "Behavior Intervention Team" in Maryville. The team is made up of a cross section of administrators from different areas at Northwest Missouri State. The university's dean of students Dr. Matt Baker Says the group meets once a week to discuss tips from campus workers to form a community of support. Northwest's team model has been used by other campuses across the United States.
