ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-08-10) A St. Joseph gas station faces state charges after the DNR says it's found a violation of underground petroleum storage tanks.

The DNR says Kwik Stop #7 on the South Belt Highway in St. Joseph is violating the state's underground storage tank law. The state says the owners and operators must have money to clean up any leaks or spills from the tanks. Investigators charge Kwik Stop is failing to comply with those financial responsibility requirements.
