SKIDMORE, MO. (2010-08-04) Several law agencies ban together to bring down an alleged marijuana operation in rural Skidmore.
The Nodaway County sheriff's office, Buchanan County drug strike force and Missouri highway patrol descended on a house at 17327 280th street near Skidmore. Inside authorities say they found a large number of pot plants and a full-blown growing operation: lights, air flow and humidity equipment and finished marijuana. The sheriff's office says several weapons were also taken into evidence. Arrested are 44 year old James Sharp and 46 year old Diana Sharp both of the home. The shut down comes on the heels of 13 suspects throughout Northwest Missouri and Southern Iowa being arrested for having meth making materials. That operation was also headed by the Nodaway County sheriff's office.
