CLYDE, MO. (2010-08-17) A Clyde resident has finished first in a state-wide photo contest promoting Missouri's agricultural heritage.

Kandie Lager of Clyde won first place in the "Beauty of the Farm" classification for her photo she calls "Turbines and Tractors at Sunrise". The contest was sponsored by the Missouri department of agriculture and the winning photos are being exhibited at the Missouri state fair through this weekend. Other winners from our region include Chris Mattson from Conception Junction who got honorable mention for the photo "Parkers Patch" in the "Faces of the Farm" category. Brenda Linder from green castle also got honorable mention in the "Pride of the Farm" category.
