MARYVILLE, MO (2010-08-25) Construction is underway on what Premium Standard Farms is calling the fianl phase of complying with a court order to raise environmental standards.
A seven and a half million dollar project started this week to install waste scrapers in more than 200 PSF barns across Northern Missouri. PSF president Bill Homann says the last round of investments should satisfy the courts and prove the corpoerate hog company is here to stay. PSF estimates it will have the barn scraper technology 100% in by July 31 of 2012.
